There’s nothing more New York than a hot dog, no better companion than a carbonated beverage and no better place to get one than Crif Dogs. The infamous hot dog shop is the East Village’s favorite spot for a late-night street food fix and front for speakeasy, Please Don’t Tell.

In collaboration with Pernod Ricard, Crif Dogs is launching a line of to-go cocktails that take this timeless combination up a notch. Each classic cocktail flavor marries PDT’s mixology expertise with Pernod Ricard’s most popular spirits brands, paired with your favorite dog.

Designed by TAVERN, the agency of record for Crif Dogs and Please Don’t Tell, the bottles are layered with PDT easter eggs, in the spirit of speakeasy secrecy. Mike Perry, TAVERN’S creative director who led the rebrand for Please Don’t Tell and Crif Dogs back in 2021, revealed that the new range’s label designs were inspired by Crif Dog’s home: Saint Marks St. in New York City. Like New York itself, where nothing is forever and people from every walk of life can be found, the design is a melting pot of visual ephemera, from graffiti to old signage and everything in between.
